Pregnancy week 35
Pregancy information: week 35 of being pregnant - The placenta has reached maturity, has stopped growing, and now begins to age.

You are probably feeling pretty tired and cumbersome by now. You may be feeling anxious or irritable and have mood swings again. You may also feel a heavy dragging feeling in your pelvis, as the weight of your baby bears down. You may be experiencing vivid and unsettling dreams, which is your mind's way of adapting to an approaching life change. A watery fluid may start leaking from your breast. This is colostrum and is the first breast milk you produce, usually after the birth.

Sometimes, particularly in second and subsequent pregnancies, it's produced several weeks before labour. You may find that pressure from the baby's head causes you to leak a tiny amount of urine. Your baby can by now recognise and react to simple songs. Try singing a nursery rhyme to see if it affects her. If your bump aches you could be straining the ligaments that support the uterus. Avoid lifting and standing for long periods and you could try using a support belt.

Your baby has spent the last two weeks growing in preparation for birth. Your baby responds very strongly to pain, light and sound. The volume of amniotic fluid shrinks as she fills almost all the space in your womb. The placenta has reached maturity, has stopped growing, and now begins to age. At birth it will weigh about one sixth of your baby's weight.

Your baby's intestine fills with a dark green, sticky substance called meconium (made of dead cells and waste from the liver and bowel). She may pass this during labour if she becomes distressed. Her lungs are fully formed but still need to mature.

Your baby's skin is becoming less transparent and more pink rather than red. Toes and fingernails are now fully grown. She produces cortisol to help the lungs develop in preparation for birth. A boy's testicles will drop into the scrotum and a girl's breasts and sexual organs may be swollen by hormones. They will shrink after the birth. Your baby will be gaining 1oz a day now.

I suddenly thought of pain when giving birth.
I told myself before, i can bear it.

I got Braxton Hick contraction, last night?!

What are Braxton Hicks contractions?
Braxton Hicks contractions are sporadic uterine contractions that start about 6 weeks into your pregnancy, although you won't be able to feel them that early. You probably won't start to notice them until sometime after mid-pregnancy, if you notice them at all. (Some women don't.) They get their name from John Braxton Hicks, an English doctor who first described them in 1872.

As your pregnancy progresses, Braxton Hicks contractions tend to come somewhat more often, but until you get to your last few weeks, they'll probably remain infrequent, irregular, and essentially painless. Sometimes, though, Braxton Hicks contractions are hard to distinguish from early signs of preterm labor.

Play it safe and don't try to make the diagnosis yourself. If you haven't hit 37 weeks yet and you're having more than four contractions in an hour — or you have any other signs of preterm labor (see below) — call your caregiver immediately.

By the time you're within a couple of weeks of your due date, your contractions may get more intense and more frequent, and they may cause some discomfort. Unlike the earlier painless and sporadic Braxton Hicks contractions, which caused no obvious cervical changes, these contractions may help your cervix "ripen" — gradually soften and thin out (efface) and maybe even dilate a bit. This period is sometimes referred to as pre-labor.

10 November 2009, Tuesday.

Went check up myself again.
I was late again! Appointment at 3.30pm. Reached at 4:43pm.

Actually HuBby's Father wanted fetched me to KkH but
he drove wrong side to KkH.
He still had to go Toa Payoh HDB at 3:30pm.
In the end, i went to Toa Payoh MRT to Novena MRT.

After that went to shuttle bus :D

Reached TPS(The Private Suite), i told them i late -.-"
Don't know why i said i late to them. LMAO...

Walked to toilet for the urine test ._.

I sat down about 5 minutes and it's my turn!
I thinks i'm the last two person to check up.
Cause after scanning, i went to payment counter.
I saw Doctor came out ._. I had so late that day? :/

Doctor said can't capture baby's face

cause baby's head was at the lower part.

I seen his heart beat, legs, face(not clear) and last his private part ._.

Lastly, doctor capture baby's penis!!! I got the scan photo.

Ooops :X

After check up,
went to sit shuttle bus to Novena then sat cab to nearby Plaza Singapura.

Cab fare paid by ZhiWei and KokPeng waited at Long John Sliver. Lol...

Went there to eat french fries! Haha, both of them always waited for me like an hour.

First time seen ZhiWei ate Long John Sliver.
Always seen him drank milo and KokPeng first time ate finished his combo 1.

Lmao... We went alot places to find baby's stuff.
Cause i chose a gift for baby not birthday present ;)

Plaza Singapura
Vivo City
Habourfront Center
IMM

Plaza Singapura, Vivo City and Habourfront Center.
This three places, i saw mothercare's store i wanted faint.

The price was expensive! So we walked and walked at Vivo City.
Saw a store called "Pumpkin Patch" from New Zealand.
KokPeng gift, 3 pieces romper :)

We went into mothercare at Plaza Singapura and Vivo City.
Habourfront center not gonna again, i had enough seeing the price.
So I decided to go IMM for the last gift before going back HuBby's home :)

Went to Habourfront interchange, we took 188 to IMM ;)
Reached there need more than 30 minutes.

Went to Kids Mall store.
ZhiWei gift, a box of gift(inside has alot stuff), Pacifier, Pillow and Bolster.
After buying things, went home with cab!
Walked whole day, cannot take it already -.-

Thanks alot friend and thanks for the 1st month gift to my BabyBoy :)
It's a tiring day...
Had my dinner at 10pm plus -.-
Finished eating, quickly bathe and go to sleep!

Good nights peeps!
These few days kept disconnecton cause of the raining.
Now no rain so i update quickly ;)

Your lungs are being squashed by your baby and you may feel a little breathless. If you move around a lot or press gently on your bump, you may wake your baby. You should be given a chance to look around the local maternity ward, during the next week or two, ask your midwife for details. If you haven't made a birth plan, you should discuss it with your midwife soon.

Your baby weighs around 5lb. Your baby can blink and her eyes will be open if she is awake. The lanugo hair and vernix covering the baby are beginning to disappear. Your baby spends 60 per cent of the last trimester of pregnancy dreaming.

Pregnancy week 33
Foetal development during week 33 of being pregnant - You will sometimes be able to feel a small fist or foot jammed into the side of your abdomen.

You will sometimes be able to feel a small fist or foot jammed into the side of your abdomen. Make sure your mattress is firm and supportive. Do not listen to birth horror stories, no two births are alike.

Your baby's fingernails reach the fingertips, her skin is pink and smooth and her body looks much more rounded. There is a store of glycogen building in your baby's liver. She will draw on this reserve energy during labour and the following days whilst feeding is established.

Your baby's brain is expanding rapidly, with the hearing and speech centres are maturing to a point where she will be able to recognise your voice at birth. A baby boy will now weigh more than a girl.
